The 2018 Ram ProMaster City is designed and engineered to carry bigger loads and handle more jobs. It features a payload capacity of 1,883 pounds, a cargo volume of 131.7 cubic feet, and a cargo area of 60.4 inches in width and 51.8 inches in height. It has a 2.4-liter engine with 178 horsepower and 174 lb.-ft torque on a 9-speed automatic transmission.
Other features include Remote Keyless Entry, Uconnect 3 radio with 5-inch touchscreen, backup camera, and Bluetooth connectivity. You can also choose between a 5-seat passenger or a 2-seat Tradesman cargo van configuration.
These 2018 versions of Ram pick-up trucks continue to offer the best quality, durability, and reliability that competitors just can’t outlast and outperform. The 2018 Ram 2500 has 17,980 pounds of towing and a payload capacity of 3,990 pounds, while the 2018 Ram 3500 has 31,210 pounds of towing and a payload capacity of 7,390 pounds.
Consumers have three engine options for both Ram 2500 and 3500. First is the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine that features Variable Valve Timing (VVT), with 400 lb.-ft. of torque and 383 horsepower at 5,600 rpm. Second is the 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 engine with VVT features and Fuel Saver Technology cylinder deactivation. It has 429 lb.-ft. of torque and 410 horsepower at 5,600 rpm. And, third is the 6.7-liter Cummins High-Output Turbo Diesel that has 900 lb.-ft. of torque and 385 horsepower at 2,800 rpm.
New features for the 2018 Ram 2500/3500 include a Sports model appearance upgrade, Fleet Telematics Module for vehicle tracking, SiriusXM Guardian™, and an 8.4-inch touch screen with 4G and LTE connection.
Just like the 2500s and 3500s, consumers looking for a Ram 1500 can choose their preferred engine specs. There is a 3.0-liter the EcoDiesel V-6 engine with 240 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. torque, a 3.6- liter Pentastar V-6 engine with 305 horsepower and 269 lb.-ft. torque, and a 5.7-liter HEMI® V-8 engine with VVT, that produces 395 horsepower and 410 lb.-ft. torque.
Along with its award-winning interior and exterior design, the 2018 RAM 1500 highlights include optimized accessory drives and thermal dynamics engineering, outstanding aerodynamics, and the best infotainment system with UConnect 8.4. The 1500s are available in 2WD and 4WD.
