Jeep Wrangler and Patriot Are Most Affordable Vehicles To Own
The Jeep Patriot and Jeep Wrangler Unlimited have made their mark again, as being not only incredibly capable but also two of the most affordable vehicles to own. The 2015 Jeep Patriot has received the lowest 5-Year Cost to Own award for the third consecutive year, winning in the Compact SUV/Crossover segment. In addition, the 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited has earned the lowest 5-Year Cost to Own Award in Mid-size SUV/Crossover category.

The highly coveted awards are given to new vehicles – both non-luxury and luxury – with the lowest projected ownership costs for the first five years of ownership. The awards are given based on data that Kelley Blue Book has collected, based on the 5-Year Cost to Own data for new cars for the initial five-year ownership period. In considering the 5-Year Cost to Own awards, Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com observes finance and insurance fees, depreciation, state fees, maintenance and repair costs, and expected fuel costs for all new models.
